A true Midwesterner at heart has sought out adventures that have taken her to perform in places like Boston, New York and more recently China (and that is only the beginning)!
Mary was born in a suburb of Chicago and grew up in Northwest Indiana. Her zest for life as a performer started when she was very young while singing in choirs, getting involved in school productions, becoming a cantor at St. Patrick’s Church, and performing in community theater (of which she continues to do two of the four to this day). She attended Indiana University and completed her BA in theatre at Millikin University. Shortly after graduation she was invited to sing “America the Beautiful” for the movie premiere of “Brothers at War” and Gary Sinise was among the attendees.
In May 2012, she earned her Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance from Longy School of Music of Bard College and immediately auditioned and was cast in a role in a new musical. The musical was entered into the New York Musical Theater Festival and was performed in mid-July. She has since moved back to her home region where she owns and teaches a private studio by day and works on her acting/singing career by night. She also continues to sing for church masses, weddings, funerals, and bar mitzvahs.
